After more than ten years of success as the first hand-held omnidirectional scanner, Metrologic has discontinued the MS6720 as of December 31, 2006. The direct replacement is Metrologic’s Fusion™, a similar scanner with improved ergonomics and an expanded feature set.

Metrologic will continue to offer service and support for customers with installed MS6720 scanners through December 31, 2011, five years after the discontinuation date.
