In an effort to improve service to you and to return your
bar code scanner repair as quickly as possible, we have designed
a quick and easy RMA
request form. Email to RMA@metrologic.com.
We also have implemented a new repair program, designed to
hasten the return of a working unit to you. The standard turnaround
time for repairs is 10-14 days. However, we have a 2-day turnaround
option through our E-Z
Repair Program (link opened in separate
window). Currently, this program applies only to 6720 and
7120 models (available in stock). Other models will be added
as they become accessible. Be sure to call Metrologic to find
out how you can take advantage of this time saving program
and learn of other options also available to you. All designed
to minimize your down time!
Our Retail/POS scanner hours are 8 AM to 8 PM, Monday through
Friday, Eastern Standard Time. The product return specialist
will also quote a flat rate repair cost for your unit if it
is out of warranty. Terms of our warranty are available in
the installation and users guide. If your guide is not available
you can download and print a copy by accessing our
guides,
manuals and software
section and selecting your scanner model number.
Our Industrial scanner hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, Eastern Standard Time. The Product Return Specialist will also quote a flat rate repair cost for your unit if it is out of warranty. Terms of our warranty are available in the installation and users guide. If your guide is not available you can download and print a copy by accessing our guides, manuals and software section and selecting your scanner model number.
Here is a quick check list to reference prior
to sending in your scanners for repair:
- Have you completed the request form or
called Metrologic to receive an RMA number?
- Is your unit securely boxed to avoid damage
in transit?
- Is the RMA# written clearly on the outside
of the box? If more than one box is being returned, please
make sure the RMA number is clearly marked on each box.
- Only return those items listed on the
RMA form.
- Do not return any accessories
(ie. Cables, power supplies, manuals, stands) with your
unit unless instructed by the Technical Support Representative.
